Hi everyone,
Well, what was I thinking setting myself a goal of writing a fast draft during the month of March? I didn’t factor in that one of our beloved poodles would face a health crisis and have to be euthanised. It was the saddest thing and I don’t think I’ve ever grieved for a pet like I have for Gonzo. He used to sleep on the sofa behind me in my office and I will miss him terribly while I write. I have his ashes with some of his favourite toys in my office now. Pets are very much a part of the family and it feels like the whole dynamic of the house has changed. There is a particular sadness about losing a dog who is only young. Gonzo was only five and we hoped to have many more years with him but it wasn’t to be.

On a lighter note, I am looking forward to getting back to my work in progress and finish this book before Easter. Easter? Yikes! Already?!!
