The year seems to be racing off as usual with lots of exciting things happening all over the place. The nicest thrill so far has been the news that I received a Cataromance Reviewers' Choice award for 2011 for my Medical romance entitled The Man with the Locked Away Heart. It is always lovely to receive awards but Cataromance is one romance website I am particularly fond of for its promotion and support of romance writers.

This month I am working on my forty-sixth book. I've just completed some minor revisions on a new Medical. It was such a fun book to write. I hope you enjoy Jake and Kitty's story when it comes out.

Dear Readers, I’m pleased to report that I am now back at my desk working again after a long hiatus due to my spinal surgery. It’s certainly nice to be back writing! The joy of writing is one thing, the other is my little writing companions, Teddy and Louis. They keep me constantly entertained and it’s hard not to smile when they are around. But I have to say they are quite distracting at times! They race around the house, their little paws sounding like thunder on the stairs. Then finally they curl up in my office and go to sleep.
