Hello everyone,
I am pleased to say I have now submitted my 80th book. I spent a few days on the East Coast of Tasmania on a writing retreat by myself with my three dogs. Oh, and with a humpback whale who visited a couple of times. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life to stand on a lonely beach and witness that beautiful creature cruising along. I will never forget it. There is only one month of winter left and then my favourite season begins. Spring is such a vibrant time, bursting with colour and energy.

Dear Readers, I’m pleased to report that I am now back at my desk working again after a long hiatus due to my spinal surgery. It’s certainly nice to be back writing! The joy of writing is one thing, the other is my little writing companions, Teddy and Louis. They keep me constantly entertained and it’s hard not to smile when they are around. But I have to say they are quite distracting at times! They race around the house, their little paws sounding like thunder on the stairs. Then finally they curl up in my office and go to sleep.
