Welcome to 2019. Let’s hope it’s a fabulous year for you all. I am enjoying being back at my desk after taking some time off after breaking my elbow in late November. The time off was frustrating as I’ve not being able to swim or make the most of the glorious summer weather we’ve been having in Tasmania. But at least I’ve done heaps of reading and catching up on movies.

Dear Readers, I’m pleased to report that I am now back at my desk working again after a long hiatus due to my spinal surgery. It’s certainly nice to be back writing! The joy of writing is one thing, the other is my little writing companions, Teddy and Louis. They keep me constantly entertained and it’s hard not to smile when they are around. But I have to say they are quite distracting at times! They race around the house, their little paws sounding like thunder on the stairs. Then finally they curl up in my office and go to sleep.
