Sign upI am having a lovely time on a research tour in Europe. My favourite place so far has been the French Rivera, especially the villages of Gourdon and Saint Paul outside of Nice. I could stay here for months and write in one of the gorgeous villas surrounded by woods where waterfalls tumble from the limestone cliffs. So inspiring!

Dear Readers, I’m pleased to report that I am now back at my desk working again after a long hiatus due to my spinal surgery. It’s certainly nice to be back writing! The joy of writing is one thing, the other is my little writing companions, Teddy and Louis. They keep me constantly entertained and it’s hard not to smile when they are around. But I have to say they are quite distracting at times! They race around the house, their little paws sounding like thunder on the stairs. Then finally they curl up in my office and go to sleep.
