Hi everyone,
I am pleased to inform you I have finished Book 81 this week after a few interruptions over the last couple of months. It was wonderful to finally have some clear space to spend with my characters without distractions- apart from raging bushfires in my home state of Tasmania. My thoughts go out to those who have lost property, and a hearty thank you to all the fire and police and volunteer personnel for the amazing job they do.

February is a great month for romance with St Valentine’s Day to celebrate! I am giving a short talk at Rosny Library in Hobart on February 15th between 2-4pm where there will be a showing of the short film- Guilty Pleasures and a discussion afterwards.

Dear Readers, I’m pleased to report that I am now back at my desk working again after a long hiatus due to my spinal surgery. It’s certainly nice to be back writing! The joy of writing is one thing, the other is my little writing companions, Teddy and Louis. They keep me constantly entertained and it’s hard not to smile when they are around. But I have to say they are quite distracting at times! They race around the house, their little paws sounding like thunder on the stairs. Then finally they curl up in my office and go to sleep.
